Paula Morris

Paula Morris MNZM (Ngāti Wai, Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Manuhiri) is an award-winning fiction writer and essayist. She teaches creative writing at the University of Auckland, and at schools and in community programmes. Paula is the founder of the Academy of New Zealand Literature and Wharerangi, the new Māori literature hub, and serves on the Mātātuhi Foundation, New Zealand Book Awards Trust, and the Coalition for Books board. She is a former NZSA President of Honour (2020-2021).
